Customer testimonials for the Quality Hotel Birmingham Airport/NEC, formerly the Bridge House Hotel.
The proximity to the train station for the journey into the city centre was excellent, right next door. The room was adequate for the purpose of city breaks.
My partner and I stayed for 2 nights as we were going to the NEC for the Good Food Show. We booked about 3 weeks before our stay and got a really good deal. Basically 2 nights for price of 1. Based in Acocks Green the bus service took us straight to the hotel (situated next to the train station). The staff on arrival were really helpful in assisting us with the area and it was nice to have that personal touch where as big chains you get plonked in your room and that is it. We didn't book breakfast but end up going down in the morning and they still accommodated us. The rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious with terrestial TV (not that we stayed in a lot). We would recommend this hotel to people and we will be definitely staying again

My single room was adequate for my needs though the decor was a bit dated. The room was situated at the car park side of the building but there was little noise from outside factors.Unfortunately there was plenty from inconsiderate guests early in the morning.
The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. A special mention about Tina who seemed to always be there and who went that extra mile to accommodate the needs of hotel guests.
The shuttle service from the hotel to the NEC and back was very helpful.
Certainly somewhere that I would use again.

Lovely hotel. VERY friendly staff who cannot do enough for you. The restaurant food was very impressive and I wish I was staying longer to enjoy more of it!. Room very modern although not the largest I have ever stayed in it was by no means small and had enough room. Large car park and decor was very good. Would stay here again over the larger chains any time. Would suit all types of traveller. Thoroughly recommended. Close to NEC and easy access by public transport or car. Just of the A45

Fantastic stay
Our stay at the Bridge House Hotel was a refreshing experience, so often you arrive at hotels and they are never what you expext, not the case with this gem, the customer service was excellent and the staff warm and friendly, the rooms were very good and well furnished and last but by no means least the food was out of this world, this all contributed to a truly magnificent stay, many thanks to all at the Bridge House Hotel, Acocks green.

Hello
I thought yout hotel was excellent and should I ever need to I'll certainly stay again. Unfortunately for yourselves, it is very rare that I stay in Birmingham due to the proximity of Leighton Buzzard - on this occasioni I was flying back late from Glasgow. I have already passed on your details to another 2 companies with whom I deal with recommending them to you.
Many Thanks

15 minutes by car from the NEC
We found the Bridge House Hotel to be a very clean and comfortable place to stay with a very friendly staff. It was only a short car jouney to the NEC and was conveniently situated right next to Acock Green railway station, a very short train journey and you are in More Street Station, Birmingham City Centre right next to the Bull Ring. Compared to other Hotels in the area we found this one to be great value for money and would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a short break in Birmingham close to the NEC. Why pay more?

Good all round, if a little tired
Good value for money (when booked via laterooms) I've had a satisfactory stay here a few times. The rooms are clean and smart, the staff very friendly and the food average.
My only negative would be the decor is a little tired but if you need a room in Solihul, then they offer good value for money.

Better than most
We've stayed in a few hotels in Birmingham over the years and this one is better than most. Good points: Really nice staff, clean room and bathroom, inexpensive.
Bad point: Room was quite cramped

Fantastic value for money with the best Chef in town!
My colleague and I stayed at the Bridge House Hotel at last minute and were not so sure on the area it was in but at that stage in the game we could not afford to be too picky. However, when we arrived we were so pleasantly suprised and found the hotel to be a "diamond in the rough!". The food and service were absolutely fantastic, and I would have no hesitation staying in this hotel again and will be recommending it to friends and colleagues.

Fantastic staff, good food, comfortable room, unbeatable value for money
May not win any major prizxes for cutting edge interior design, but the staff were really friendly and welcoming, the room was comfortable and clean, btahroom large and everythibng worked well, the food was nice, plenty of parking and a great cooked breakfast thrown in. If you are after a stopover while visiting the NEC you could not do better than this place - I will definitely be back!

The owners and staff made me feel very welcome and comfortable.
They are both friendly and attentitive. Efficiency and a sense of humour without forgetting the little touches that are so important.
I look forward to staying here again next time I am working in Birmingham.
Don't be afraid of the chef, He's a good guy!!!
